Dump Trailer Tarp Systems are a worthy investment for both dump trucks and dump trailers. Manual tarp systems simplify the tarping process, saving you time and money. Please note: This model is designed for dump trailers less than 24' long. This is a complete bolt-on kit (no welding required).

With a manual dump trailer tarp system, you can cover and uncover a load in seconds, with the crank of a handle, and from the comfort and safety of the ground or your cab! This tarp system features heavy-duty rustproof aluminum tarp arms that mount to each side of your dump trailer, with a cross tube connecting the arms over the dump box. Each side has springs that push the arms towards the rear of the dump box. The included direct-drive crank box turns the axle which spools up the tarp and pull the tarp arms back to the front of the dump trailer.

An auto tarp kit comes with everything you need for a quick and easy installation. Any of the tarp system hardware can be cut down to fit dump trailer lengths from 8' to 24', making it one of the most versatile and economical dump truck tarp systems on the market.

When manufacturing the optional fender mounted pivot plates for your trailer, it is crucial you account for your steak pockets / top rail above or around where the tarp system arms will be pivoting. This, along with a wider than normal top rail, can incur some extra fitment issues due to a less than ideal pivot tolerance. If you have any questions or are concerned due to fitment issues, please call prior to ordering. If your trailer has upright braces welded to the fender, please measure for your pivot point center prior to ordering. Some trailers will have their pivot point in the middle of a vertical upright. In these cases, a cut-out or custom pivot plate may need to be fabricated.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR A TARP

For tarp size, please measure inside to inside of where the tarp axle/crank box will be mounted, subtract 4" and that will be your width. For length, please measure from where the tarp axle will be to the tailgate, then add 2'.
